Established on 3 January 1901, Ski-Club Arlberg ranks amongst the oldest and most famous ski clubs of the Alps. With currently more than 9,158 members from 60 countries, it is one of the largest ski club of Europe. This long-standing club is home to plenty of world champions and Olympic medalists. In addition, Ski-Club Arlberg has contributed numerous impulses and milestones to the development of Alpine skiing and tourism at the Arlberg.

Youth development

With more than 100 years of tradition, Ski-Club Arlberg puts a special focus on the development of its young members. Located all over the entire Arlberg region, successful and highly qualified trainers take care of more than 150 children and youths.

The Arlberg, the "cradle of Alpine skiing"

The history of Alpine skiing starts at Arlberg:

the first cableway system was installed in 1937 and paved the way for the development of Lech-Zürs.
numerous impulses and pioneering milestones contributed to the development of tourism and Alpine skiing at Arlberg and made the area become an insider tip.
Arlberg ski tutors were among the first in Vorarlberg to teach a modern skiing style to their guests.
Arlberg was the first location to integreate heated seats at their lifts.

In and around Plattenhof

in-house ski deposit: a ski deposit is located on the lower level of the main building. Here you can store your own and rental equipment, dry your boots and get changed. Please note however, that Management assumes no liability for lost and/or stolen items, misplaced and/or mistaken gear. Please report any suspicious immediately to the front desk.
Skipass tickets available at the front desk: ski pass tickets for "Ski Arlberg" are available at the front desk. Tickets must be settled in cash or credit/debit card when picked up. A cash deposit of €5 per card is required and payable in cash only. Upon rendering the card, the deposit will be refunded. Please advise on time in order to prepare everything for you correctly.
Ski schools: a few minutes from the hotels you will find all major ski schools in Lech. Private tutors will come to the hotel to pick you and your children up.
Ski rental shops: Lech offers plenty of specialized sports and rental shops. Our official partner shop Sportalp provides you with high-end, state-of-the-art gear that is serviced daily.
